Lindsey Borgmann is a nurse leader, educator, and motivational speaker who inspires audiences to find strength, purpose, and resilience in the face of life’s greatest challenges.
After surviving a life-threatening Type A aortic dissection shortly after the birth of her second son—and spending 117 days in the hospital and rehabilitation—Lindsey emerged with a powerful new perspective on leadership, advocacy, healthcare, and the human experience. Today, she combines her professional expertise with her deeply personal journey to inspire others to lead with courage, navigate adversity, and embrace the moments that have the power to change us.

I’m Lindsey
Lindsey Borgmann, MSN, MBA, RN, is a nurse leader and educator with 14 years of nursing experience spanning bedside practice, professional development, nursing leadership, and healthcare accreditation.
She began her clinical career in Pre-Op and PACU before transitioning into nursing education and leadership, where she has focused on developing nurses and leaders, advancing professional practice, and supporting organizational excellence.
Lindsey has extensive experience leading and managing accreditation processes, including The Joint Commission, AAAHC, and MBSAQIP. She brings a unique perspective at the intersection of clinical practice, education, leadership, and quality.
In June 2025, following the birth of her second son, Lindsey experienced a type an aortic dissection spending 71 days in CVICU/SICU and an additional 46 in inpatient rehab. Her journey through a life-threatening medical event profoundly shaped her perspective on healthcare, advocacy, resilience, and the importance of the patient and family experience.
